Product Details

The Holland Wood Sofa Back Console Table combines a low architectural profile with rounded reeded end panels and two open display levels. Its narrow 12-inch depth provides useful surface and shelving space without introducing the visual weight of a conventional cabinet.

Available in three widths and four oak finishes, the console can be proportioned for placement behind a sofa, beneath artwork, along a hallway, or against a wide living-room wall. Greige Oak and Natural Oak create a lighter, more organic appearance, while Brown Oak and Black Oak provide deeper contrast and a more defined architectural presence.

Product Details:

  • Furniture Type: Low open console table
  • Available Widths: 72", 84", and 96"
  • Overall Depth: 12"
  • Overall Height: 27"
  • Storage Configuration: Two open display levels
  • End Profile: Rounded reeded panels
  • Finish Options: Greige Oak, Natural Oak, Brown Oak, and Black Oak

Materials & Construction:

  • Primary Construction: Kiln-dried solid wood and engineered wood
  • Surface Material: American oak veneers
  • Reeded Surfaces: Solid oak
  • Surface Finish: Multistep matte finish designed to preserve visible wood grain
  • Finish Options: Greige Oak, Natural Oak, Brown Oak, and Black Oak

Rounded end panels are wrapped in vertical oak reeding, adding depth and tactile variation to the console’s otherwise restrained horizontal form. The open shelf structure keeps the piece visually light while providing space for books, decorative objects, baskets, and media accessories.

The matte finish allows the grain and natural tonal variation of the oak to remain visible rather than creating a heavily coated or high-gloss appearance.

Application & Sizing:

The 72-inch console is well suited behind compact and standard-size sofas or along shorter wall spans.

The 84-inch console provides a more substantial horizontal presence behind larger sofas and within medium-scale living rooms, hallways, and open-plan interiors.

The 96-inch console is designed for wide sofas, larger sectionals, expansive walls, and rooms where the console is intended to function as a significant architectural element.

Before selecting a size, compare the console’s 27-inch height with the height of the sofa back. Also account for the total sofa width, end-table placement, wall length, artwork dimensions, nearby doorways, and the required circulation space around the console.

Care Instructions:

  • Routine Cleaning: Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Surface Protection: Use coasters, trays, placemats, or protective pads beneath beverages, lamps, planters, and decorative objects.
  • Spills: Blot spills immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth and dry the surface promptly.
  • Avoid: Do not use abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvent-based products, silicone-based furniture polish, or rough cleaning tools.
  • Object Placement: Lift objects rather than dragging them across the wood surface.
  • Environment: Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, heating vents, excessive humidity, and extreme temperature changes.

Notes:

  • Material Variation: Natural wood and oak veneer may vary in grain, knots, tone, texture, and finish absorption. These characteristics contribute to the individual appearance of each console and are not considered defects.
  • Placement Planning: Confirm that the 27-inch console height is appropriate for the selected sofa, wall, artwork, television, or other surrounding furniture.
  • Delivery Access: Before ordering, confirm doorway width, hallway clearance, stair or elevator access, turning radius, protective packaging clearance, and the final placement area.
  • Weight & Handling: The console weighs between 132 and 176 lbs., depending on size. Professional furniture handling should be planned for delivery and placement.
  • Customization: Any non-listed size, material, or finish must be confirmed with our Design Concierge Team before ordering.

Shipping & Warranty:

  • Warranty: 3-Year Limited Warranty
  • Shipping: Free Shipping on All Orders
